Meet the Officers

Kara Erickson

Kara was born and raised in Arizona, where she remembers going off road with her dad Joe and family. Eventually life brought her family to beautiful Colorado where she finished up high school and it was there she met her future husband Ricky. In 2014 Ricky and Kara took a gamble on a broken 2000 Nissan Xterra named Emme by the then owners, because Kara wanted an off-road vehicle and at $500 the price was right. Ricky was able to get it running and the rest is history. Kara loves rock crawling and taking in beautiful scenery, but her favorite part of the hobby is enjoying it with Ricky and all of their friends in NORAC.

Adam France

Vice President

For Adam, it all started with his dad and his old CJ-5. He loved going to the mountains with him. He got back into with Richard Erickson when they did a random run on Bunce. His preteen daughter had the time of her life, and he was excited to have found a hobby that he and his angsty preteen could enjoy together.

Dan Taber

Dan grew up off roading in the California desert, and learned to drive in a 1959 Willys with a 286 Olds aluminum V6 in it. Off roading has been in his blood for a very long time. His street legal car was a fiberglass bodied dune buggy growing up. Off roading was something he just did. Dan took a break from everything to raise a family, and now they are all grown up, he is here doing it all over again.

Wendy Miles

Public Relations

Wendy grew up in Nebraska and Iowa where she spent six years driving semis, Humvees, 5-tons and deuce-and-a-halves in the Army Reserves which started a passion for off-road equipped vehicles.  After moving to Colorado with a Jeep Liberty in 2011, she was briefly involved with the Mile-Hi Jeep Club.  In 2017, she purchased a well-modified Nissan Xterra, Boris, and has since become involved with NORAC and COHVCO. During the week, Wendy works with an automotive aftermarket trade magazine, giving her the opportunity to talk to the manufacturers of the parts we, in the off-roading community, use. In her free-time, she and her son also volunteer with Team Rubicon and The Mission Continues.

Nick Austin

Public Relations

Nick's first offroading experience was when je was 9 around a lake in Plainville KS where his dad grew up, and ever since then he was hooked. He don't have a ton off experience with a full size but does have a ton of experience with ATVs. Now that he has a family and kids he love showing them the outdoors and how lucky they are to be living in a place like Colorado with the abundance of camping and 4 wheeling. He looks forward to the growing experience that NORAC creates all while doing something that truly does matter for everyone who enjoys the outdoors.
